All of us in Halau Ka Liko Pua O Kalaniakea are very excited for one of our hula brothers from San Jose, California; Deandre "Kamele" Brackinsick made the Top 50, made it thru Hollywood Week and is headed to Las Vegas for next week.

We knew that Kamele was going to tryout for American Idol, but understood if he did make it we wouldn't hear from him for awhile.  We are ready to wait each week to cheer him on, and eagerly await the chance to start burning up the phones to vote for him, but we wait to see how he does in Las Vegas!  We're all rooting for you Kamele!  IMUA!
